THE KOGIS
A reality I encountered during my travels in Colombia, difficult to fully grasp, almost unreal in its intensity. Yet, it was real—and remains so. Created together with my dear partner Amiyarai, this project developed organically into a larger, three-chapter work filmed in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Home to the Kogi, one of the last Indigenous groups preserving pre-colonial knowledge, living in deep connection with nature. Their worldview raises quiet but persistent questions about knowledge, balance, and what it means to live well. A project shaped by curiosity, uncertainty, and the attempt to translate both into film from my perspective.
